Tips to make your flowers open a little faster
If the flowers you received are still closed, it means that they are very fresh, just cut from the field. They look beautiful, but if you want to see them open in all their splendor as soon as possible, here are some tips for those buds to bloom now:
Water
The first thing is the water: preferably use filter or jug water, and if it is alkaline, much better. To open faster, put warm water in a vase or container, take your bouquet and put the stems in the hot water for a minute. Then put them back in cold water. In a little while they will open.
Food
Pour the food for plants that we always include in all our bouquets into the water of your flowers.
Hot of the sun
Another trick is to put them where the sun hits them, but not so direct, so that they do not wither.
stems
We already take care of that: the trick is that we cut them diagonally. In this way the flowers better absorb nutrients and water. So they open early and stay fresh longer. In some arrangements the stem is shorter, which makes it absorb nutrients much faster.
